RMS Skip Hire, under no circumstances, accepts liability for damage claims arising from vehicles delivering/collecting on private property.
Clients or contractors requesting skips to be delivered/collected onto private land do so at their own risk.
By hiring skips from RMS, you automatically agree to our terms and conditions.
Please Note
The nature of the work activity involved in delivering or collecting skips is considered high risk, as we use heavy vehicles operating mechanical and hydraulic equipment.
When delivering or collecting off the public highway (onto private land), there is potential for damage to occur on your property. If you (or contractors) ask us to proceed off the public highway onto private land, it must be clearly understood that it is your responsibility and request.
Equally, If the public highway is damaged while delivering or collecting skips to your property, you must report it to the local authority.
For clarification, the onus for damage on the private property sits directly with the client or contractor who requested RMS to deliver/collect skips in that location.

Skip Road Licences
If your skip requires a permit to stand on the road we will apply to the Highways Authority on your behalf.
We will collect the skip on last day of permit unless you contact us BEFORE licence expiry date, we will then apply to extend the permit period on instructions from the customer provided a payment is received from the customer to RMS Skip Hire.
The Highways Authorities do not refund permit applications.
